Sergio Busquets says Malcom fully deserved his goal after the Brazilian scored on his Champions League debut against Inter at the San Siro.
Malcom arrived as a second-half substitute for Ousmane Dembele, and it looked like he’d netted the winner as he opened the scoring on 83 minutes.
However, Mauro Icardi equalised four minutes later to rescue a point for Inter, although Busquets felt his side deserved all three.
“I think we merited much more than a draw - we were more ambitious than Inter. In the second half we played more openly, created more - perhaps we risked too much.
“I think our first half level was better - we created chances, completely dominated Inter and ensured Icardi barely touched the ball.
“Malcom is a smashing player who’s working very hard to earn starting minutes - this goal is a timely reward for him.”

The draw means that Barcelona have qualified for the knockout stages with two games to go. They play PSV next in the tournament, before wrapping up their group campaign at home to Spurs.
