Did Samuel Umtiti drop hint about his Barcelona future against Roma?

Samuel Umtiti’s future has dominated the headlines in recent weeks and the defender had reason to celebrate against Roma on Wednesday.

The Frenchman had a huge hand in Barcelona’s second goal as his shot hit the post and was eventually bundled home by Kostas Manolas.

Umtiti ran off celebrating and made a point of grabbing the Barcelona badge on his shirt and pointing to it as he ran to the home fans.

Was it a message to the fans? Was it just a simple celebration? It’s difficult to say for sure but it certainly looks a good sign. Signing the new deal would be an even better sign though.
