Frenkie de Jong didn’t have the best match for Barcelona on Wednesday night in the Champions League.

Barcelona’s 2-1 win in Prague over Slavia Prague wasn’t the prettiest win ever, but it all worked out for the good guys. Frenkie is completely aware of how lucky Barcelona were in their win.

“I think we were a bit lucky today,” he said.

“They did good, we were not good enough especially on the ball and then (in terms of) pressure it was not our best game.

“But at the end we won an away game in the Champions League so we are happy about this. Sometimes you have games like this. Hopefully not too many this season but today was one of them.”

De Jong and Barcelona’s win, plus Inter Milan beating Dortmund, puts Barcelona at the top of Group F for the time being.
