Samuel Umtiti has played down concerns over his fitness and says his knee is “perfect” ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund.

The French centre-back has been plagued with knee issues over the last two seasons but could be in line to make his second start in a week at the Camp Nou.

Gerard Pique is suspended for the game which means Umtiti is likely to partner Clement Lenglet in the heart of the defence and insists he is in good shape.

“I’m very well. I’m feeling good and I’m only thinking about playing. I’m very well, very well. My knee is perfect.”

Umtiti also spoke about Wednesday’s tie and said his team will “show that we’re Barcelona” as they aim for the win that will seal qualification to the knockout stages.
