Malcom has been talking about Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir ahead of the two teams’ Champions League last 16 second leg on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old missed the first leg in France, which ended goalless, due to suspension but is available to play in the return on Wednesday.

There’s plenty to play for at the Camp Nou and Malcom knows Fekir well having spent two years in France with Bordeaux.

“Fekir is a big player, and when I was in France, he scored incredible goals,” he said.

“We want to win the hat-trick, we’re going to work for it, it’s the best team, the best players, Lyon has good players. I think that if we do our job, well, we’ll pass.”

Malcom may also get to feature on Wednesday night with Ousmane Dembele a doubt after picking up a hamstring problem against Rayo Vallecano on Saturday.

The winger is yet to start in the Champions League this season but has made two appearances off the bench and scored against Inter Milan in the group stages.
