Nabil Fekir says his Lyon side are confident they can beat Barcelona in the Champions League and knock the Spanish champions out of the tournament.

The two teams face off at the Camp Nou next week in the second leg of their last 16 tie after a goalless draw in France in the first leg.

Fekir knows his team are in for a tough test in Barcelona but is optimistic they can make it through.

“We believe we can win but we know it’ll be a difficult match. We know their strengths but we’ll give it everything,” he said.

“Before that we have a match against Strasbourg. It was frustrating not being able to play in the first match due to my suspension.”

Barcelona will be favourites to progress but know they’ll have to win the game as a score draw would see Lyon progress on away goals.
