Liverpool beat FC Porto 4-1 on Wednesday to secure an 6-1 aggregate win and a place against Barcelona in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were leading the tie 2-0 from the first leg at Anfield and comfortably saw out the return on Wednesday.

Sadio Mane put the Reds on their way, and Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Virgil van Dijk were also on target for the Premier League team.

The first leg is scheduled to be played at the Camp Nou on Tuesday, April 30 or Wednesday, May 1, with the return at Anfield the following week. The dates will be confirmed on Thursday.

The second semi-final sees Ajax take on Tottenham Hotspur after Mauricio Pochettino’s side knocked out Manchester City on away goals after a classic at the Etihad.
