Back-up left-back Junior Firpo is in Dortmund with Barcelona for the clash but did not make the bench for the game which seems to be why Ernesto Valverde turned to Roberto.
It remains to be seen how serious Alba’s injury is but the team may have to make do without him for Saturday’s trip to Granada in La Liga.
