Arturo Vidal may have left Barcelona over the summer but the Catalan giants remain in his thoughts.

The midfielder takes on Real Madrid on Tuesday in the Champions League with his Inter side and is hoping to deliver a result that will please two sets of fans.

“Tomorrow I hope I can celebrate victory against Real Madrid with the fans of Inter and those of Barça. I spent two great years there and it is a very nice game to play.

“I have faced them on many occasions and on different teams. With Juventus we managed to eliminate them but with Bayern it wasn’t like that, so now it’s time to do our best again.

“A Champions League match is always important, but the duel against Real Madrid, also due to the needs with which we both arrived, is decisive and we will give everything to win.”

Inter head into the match after only managing to pick up draws in their first two group games so far in 2020-21. Yet Los Blancos have fared even worse and head into the match bottom of the group and without a win.
