Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen offered his verdict on Barcelona’s 3-0 defeat to Juventus in the Champions League on Tuesday.

It was another rough night for Ronald Koeman’s men who were well-beaten and lost top spot to Juventus in their final group match.

Ter Stegen spoke about where it had gone wrong for his team after the match and how they will try to put things right.

“We made mistakes that cannot happen. We’re in a phase where if we slip up, we concede a goal. We haven’t managed to have the rub of the green in that sense.

“We have to get out of this dynamic and work hard, which we are doing, to come out of this situation. We have to start games stronger.

“We wanted to get through as group winners but we can’t say that we’ve done badly until now in the Champions League. We have played well and won some difficult games.

“We have to concentrate on the league and try to get back as many points as possible and see how we go. We are not where we want to be in the table but we have games in hand and we can make up some points. That’s the objective, pick up points at home and not drop any more points.”

It’s another poor display from Barcelona who struggled again defensively and rarely looked like scoring. Koeman has his work cut out lifting his players ahead of Sunday’s La Liga clash against Levante.
