Antoine Griezmann didn’t hold back when it came to analyzing Barcelona’s performance against Juventus on Tuesday in the Champions League.
Two goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and a Weston McKennie strike handed the visitors a deserved victory at the Camp Nou and ended Barca’s long unbeaten home record in the competition.
Griezmann made it clear how disappointed he was with his team after the defeat to the Serie A champions that ensured Barca missed out on top spot in Group G.
“We didn’t turn up. In the first half, they were all over us. We lacked everything: desire, attitude, wanting to run, to defend... everything was bad.
“It’s our fault, we’re the ones playing. We have to want to work hard and want to play. We have to want everything. That’s the only way to move forward.
“We can look for excuse but it’s time to leave that to one side and work hard, because the image created day is very ugly.”

Barcelona’s defeat could end up proving pretty costly when it comes to Monday’s draw for the last 16. The Catalan giants could now come up against the likes of Bayern Munich, Liverpool, or Manchester City.
