Barcelona include Ousmane Dembele in Champions League squad

Barcelona have included Ousmane Dembele in their 26-man squad which will fly out to Portugal on Thursday for the final stages of the Champion League.

There’s been plenty of speculation regarding Dembele’s fitness and whether he’ll be able to play ahead of Friday’s quarter-final against Bayern Munich.

Barcelona have confirmed he’s still not been given the green light by the medical team but is part of the travelling squard.

“Quique Setién has named the squad of 26 players to take on Bayern Munich at the Stadium of Light in this Friday’s quarter final.

“Frenchman Ousmane Dembélé is in the team despite not having been declared fully fit, and Martin Braithwaite also travels despite not being eligible to play in the competition. Samuel Umtiti, however, will stay in Barcelona to continue his recovery programme.”
