Barcelona reportedly turned Arthur away from the Camp Nou on Saturday night ahead of their Champions League clash with Napoli.

The midfielder has returned from Brazil and wanted to support the team in their last-16 clash against Gennaro Gattuso’s side but was told to go home, according to reports.

Cat Radio report Arthur was turned away for safety reasons because the club do not yet have the results of the coronavirus test he took on Friday.

Over at Sport the word is that Arthur has tested negative but was refused entry to the Camp Nou because access to the ground is limited and he was not on the accredited list.

Guillermo Amor was asked about Arthur and offered the following explanation.

“Arthur did not come when he had to, he did not pass the coronavirus tests with UEFA, so that’s why he was not on the list to be here today. We’ll see what happens. What counts is today’s game and then Arthur’s case will be discussed.”
