Frenkie de Jong put in a fine performance for Barcelona against Napoli on Saturday and played the match with his left hand bandaged.

It turns out the reason for the strapping was because the Netherlands international was stung by a bee ahead of the game at the Camp Nou.

As you can see it certainly left it’s mark on De Jong.

De Jong certainly didn’t seem affected by his hand against Napoli which was clearly still swollen on Sunday in the club’s recovery session.

Barcelona have the day off on Monday but will be back in training on Tuesday to continue preparations for the clash against Bayern Munich.
