Ansu Fati says Barcelona are ready to fight in the Champions League after giving their qualification hopes a big boost by beating Dynamo Kiev 1-0 on Tuesday in Ukraine.
The 19-year-old also dedicated the win to team-mate Serio Aguero after scoring the only goal of the game and celebrating with a clear nod to the Argentina international.

Fati spoke about Aguero after the match and made it clear the striker is very much in everyone’s thoughts right now.
“The win is dedicated to Kun Aguero for what he’s gone through. He contributes a lot and now he’s going to be out for a while. The win is for him and I hope he’s with us soon,” he said.
“It was a good win, we’re really happy, we’re there and we’re going to fight. We depend on ourselves to get out of the group. Now we have to face Benfica and Bayern Munich and we’re going to give everything. We knew it was an important week.”
The teenager finished off by talking about his own fitness. There was a worrying moment in the second half when he went down in the area and appeared in be in real pain but was able to carry on.
Fati admitted he did find it tough going against Dynamo Kiev but is happy to be back out on the pitch for Barcelona.
“Physically it was a little hard. But every player likes playing these games,” he said. “I have to be ready, get some rhythm, return little by little. It was an important day and the coach gave me the chance to play.”
The youngster’s goal came on his 50th appearance for Barcelona. Fati’s now has three for the season and 16 in total for the Catalan giants.
