Uh oh. Ahead of one of the most anticipated matches in recent football history, PSG seem to have picked up a pretty nasty injury blow this week. Former Barca player and PSG’s lead man, Neymar suffered an injury this week in the club’s win over Caen.

Neymar went down in the 56th minute holding his thigh after a challenge. Raising concerns if he would be able to reach peak fitness in time for the Barca clash. PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino commented on the injury, and frankly, raised more questions than answered.

“It’s hard to know now, we’ll see [Thursday] with the doctor, for the moment it’s hard to say,” he said. “Can he be there [at Barcelona] next week? I need more information. Is he affected in the adductors? Yes.”

PSG have now offered an update and confirmed Neymar is now out for four weeks. The news means he’ll definitely miss the first leg and is a doubt for the return too.
