AC Milan want Vidal in January
We start off today with AC Milan who are reportedly considering attempting to bring in Aleix Vidal in January.
According to Calciomercato, Milan are after a replacement for Andrea Conti, who is out of action for six months with a knee problem.
The Rossoneri are hoping they can bring in Vidal and will offer Barca €15 million for his services.
Goretza not leaving Schalke this winter
Despite Ariedo Braida claiming Barcelona are not interested in Leon Goretzka, the rumors keep coming, although it now appears he will not be sold until next summer.
The Germany international will be a free agent next year but Sport Bild say Schalke will try to hang on to him for as long as possible.
The club feel they have a better chance of attaining their targets for the season with Goretzka in the squad, even though that means losing him for nothing when his contract expires.
Barca and Real Madrid want Valencia wonderkid
Over at Super Deporte the news is that Barcelona and Real Madrid both want to sign 17-year-old prospect Ferran Torres from Valencia.
The highly-rated teenager has been impressing for the reserve team in Segunda B and has a rather tempting buy-out clause of just €8 million.
Both clubs have scouted the midfielder but there have apparently been no bids just yet.
Barca want to sell Rafinha & Gomes in January
Barcelona have decided which two players they want to sell when the transfer window reopens and the names are - Rafinha and Andre Gomes, so say Fichajes.
However, there is a slight problem in that Rafinha has recently undergone further sugery, meaning selling him in January might be difficult.
Gomes meanwhile, has apparently been offered to Juventus, Inter and AC Milan, but so far there have been no takers for the midfielder.
Inter offered Gomes
It’s a different story over in the UK, where the Mirror reports that Tottenham are still interested in Gomes.
Spurs saw a late move for the Portugal international fall through last summer but could resurrect their interest in January.
Gomes could potentially move on loan to north London before making the deal permanent with Spurs paying £18 million for the midfielder.
Alba to reject Man Utd because of Messi
And finally we end with news that Jordi Alba will turn down interest from Manchester United because he loves playing with Lionel Messi so much.
According to the always entertaining Don Balon, the full-back has been offered a big deal and Jose Mourinho has been in regular touch about a move to Old Trafford.
However, Alba is having none of it and has made it clear to United that he is going absolutely nowhere.
