PSG to battle Barca for Coutinho

We start today with news from Sport that Paris Saint-Germain are set to rival Barcelona for Philippe Coutinho.

Apparently PSG officials have already made contact with the Brazilian and want to try to convince him not to join Barcelona in January.

Due to FFP, PSG will have to sell players this winter and would not be able to move for Coutinho until next summer.

Ter Stegen to replace Neuer at Bayern

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich are sniffing around Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, according to the good folk at Mundo Deportivo.

With Manuel Neuer expected to be out for the next six months due to injury, Bayern are considering bringing in a top-class replacement and Ter Stegen is one option.

However, the report notes that the German is completely happy at Barcelona and that Bayern are also thinking of Gianluigi Donnarumma and Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Arda to Galatasaray in January?

Over at AS they report that Arda Turan has finally got the message that he is not in Ernesto Valverde’s plans for the season and could opt to leave in January.

Arda is finally ready to consider his options, with World Cup 2018 looming, and Galatasaray remain keen to do a deal.

The Turkish side just need to agree a fee with Barcelona and will then offer a deal that would see him see out the rest of his playing career at Gala.

AC Milan will not go for Deulofeu

AC Milan will not try to sign Gerard Deulofeu in January, despite the winger being interested in a move to San Siro, according to Calciomercato.

The Rossoneri had the chance to sign Deulofeu in the summer, but opted against it and will not renew their interest in the winter transfer market.

Deulofeu, meanwhile, is apparently unsettled due to a lack of minutes and wants to be playing as regularly as possible to give his World Cup hopes a boost.

Milan & Arsenal both want Rafinha

Rafinha’s future at Barcelona continues to be the subject of speculation, despite the fact he is not even expected to return to action until December.

According to Super Deporte, that has not put off both Milan and Arsenal who are both tempted to make a move in January,

Milan are considering a loan deal, while Arsenal apparently see the Brazilian as a potential replacement for Mesut Ozil.
