It's just speculation, which we all knew

The summer transfer window is rapidly approaching, and the Yearly Idiotic Neymar Rumors have come back with full strength.

The Brazilian superstar is constantly linked with a move away from Barcelona, and the two clubs talked about the most as possible destinations are Paris Saint-Germain (HAHAHAHAHAHAHA THEY LOST 6-1 TO US HAHAHAHAHA) and Manchester United. The Red Devils apparently have wanted to sign Neymar since before he was born, and their interest continues to surface again and again in the media.

This time it was Catalan newspaper Diario SPORT who came out with a report that claimed José Mourinho was "crazy about signing Neymar", and his "plan" to sign the Brazilian included a €200 million transfer fee and a €30 million per year salary. It's obviously a bunch of B.S., but the English press went NUTS and shared the report everywhere.

So a Brazilian reporter went and asked José Mourinho himself about Neymar, and the United manager was quite clear in his answer:

"It's mere speculation. I always look to objective and pragmatic with the clubs I work for and always ask the club for something that can be given to me. Asking for Neymar is absurd.

"A club like Barcelona cannot and will not lose Neymar. Even though Messi is still young with good years ahead of him, he is almost 30 and Neymar will be Barcelona's great player after Messi. Trying to sign him is like trying to break into a vault. It's impossible."

It's quite refreshing to see José Mourinho being so honest and realistic, but he is right. Neymar just signed a new contract and will be paid boatloads of money to be Barça's superstar for the next decade or so. There's no reason Barça would sell him, he loves the club and doesn't want to leave anytime soon.

You can cross United off the list of potential Neymar buyers.
