Paco Alcácer could be heading for the Barcelona exit door this summer with AS Monaco keen on bringing him in to replace Radamel Falcao, according to Le10Sport.

The report claims Falcao could become the latest big name to make the lucrative move to China this summer, leaving Monaco looking for a bright young replacement.

Alcácer is believed to fit the club’s profile perfectly with Leonardo Jardim’s side believing he could be tempted away due to a lack of game time at Barça.

Indeed the 23-year-old has made just five La Liga starts for Barcelona this season, but although he really struggled when he first arrived, things have improved in recent months.

Paco has started to look more like a part of the squad and seems to have grown in confidence as the season has progressed, scoring five times in total.

Whether he could be tempted to move to Monaco remains to be seen, although the Ligue 1 side have certainly impressed this season with their brand of attacking, exciting football.

Leonardo Jardim’s side could finish the season as French champions and, let’s not forget, are already into the last four of the Champions League, where they will face Juventus.

Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe has become one of the hottest properties in Europe with his displays this season while Bernardo Silva, Fabinho, Bernard Mendy and Tiemoué Bakayoko are rarely out of the gossip columns.
