Nacho Monreal has waded into the Hector Bellerin debate, just days after Denis Suarez revealed the full-back is torn over whether to return to Barcelona.

The midfielder says he spoke to Bellerin recently and feels "on the one hand he's keen to come and on the other he feels tied to Arsenal."

However, fellow Gunner Monreal is having none of it and is confident his team-mate will remain in north London, despite all the speculation surrounding a Camp Nou return.

"He's an Arsenal player and almost certainly he will stay here," Monreal told Mundo Deportivo.

"Hector is a very important player for us and the boss [Wenger] has already reiterated that he counts on him.

"Now they will have to negotiate between the clubs and we will see what happen but almost for sure he will continue with us."

Bellerin is now on Under-21 duty where he will link up with Suarez and of course Gerard Deulofeu, with Barca also linked with activating his buy-back clause this summer.

Will we see these three at Barcelona next season?
