Manchester City to tempt Iniesta?

After watching Dani Alves slip through their fingers, Manchester City have turned their attentions to Andres Iniesta, well, so say Don Balon, which may be a big clue as to the accuracy of this rumor.

Apparently, Iniesta is in no rush to sign an extension, and could indeed run down his contract, move to Manchester City for a bit before finishing his career in MLS. Or not.

Valverde says yes to Paulinho

Wondering what’s happening with the whole Paulinho to Barcelona thing? Wonder no more, as Mundo Deportivo say it’s all still on with Ernesto Valverde having given the transfer his blessing.

However, they must be quick as Barca have just days before the transfer window closes in China and time is running out to sign the Brazil international.

Inter in for Yerry Mina

Yerry Mina is expected to join Barcelona later this year, but not if Inter have their way, according to Mundo Deportivo.

They report the Serie A side are interested in the defender, have been scouting him and could indeed make an offer this summer.

Ceballos move still not done

Clutching at straws this may be, but Dani Ceballos still has not signed for Real Madrid, despite being widely expected to have put pen to paper on his move by now.

AS claim Madrid and Betis are still quibbling over the fee but, just before anyone gets too excited, the move is not expected to fall through, for now.

Azpilicueta back on Barca radar?

Having given up completely on Hector Bellerin, Barca are now exploring the possibility of landing Cesar Azpilicueta, according to Marca.

Ernesto Valverde has reportedly instructed his team to discover if there is any chance of landing the Chelsea defender, who faces extra competition for his place following the arrival of Antonio Rudiger.
