Messi & Neymar want Dele Alli

We start today with some fairly entertaining fare from Diario Gol, who claim that both Neymar and Lionel Messi want Barcelona to sign Tottenham’s Dele Alli.

The club are keen to make a big-name signing this summer, and if neither Philippe Coutinho nor Marco Verratti can arrive, then the duo believe the club should go for the Spurs star.

Bellerin disappointed at lack of Barca offer

Staying in north London, where poor old Hector Bellerin is feeling disappointed after Barcelona failed to make a bid for his services, according to COPE.

While the full-back knew it would be difficult to secure a return to Camp Nou, he had apparently done his best by twice asking Arsene Wenger to allow him to leave.

Guangzhou to sue Barca over Paulinho

It’s fair to say that Guangzhou Evergrande are not happy about Barcelona’s reported pursuit of midfielder Paulinho (I think that’s something we can all agree on).

However, they are so “livid”, according to AS, they are considering appealing to Fifa to complain about Barca’s “harassing” of the Brazilian.

Vermaelen to get another chance

And finally, it’s over to Thomas Vermalen, remember him? Well, he could just be about to be given another chance at Barcelona, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Basically the club are struggling to offload the defender and will therefore take him on the US tour where will be given the chance to prove he can be the club’s “fifth element” behind Samuel Umtiti, Gerard Piqué, Javier Mascherano and Marlon Santos.
