Chelsea ready to sign Sergio Roberto

What is it about Barcelona players and release clauses? According to Sport, Chelsea are ready to spring Sergi Roberto’s €40m release clause to bring him to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea want to strengthen their wing-backs and have already missed out on Danilo, while they are also finding it tough to lure Alex Sandro from Juve, hence the interest in Roberto.

Neymar entourage surprised by photo

Meanwhile, back to the Neymar saga and AS claim that sources close to the Brazilian were “confused” by Gerard Pique’s photo of the pair together with the caption “he stays”.

The photo was widely interpreted as being confirmation that the Brazilian would indeed stay at Barca this summer, despite the huge interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

Barca to sign Paulinho & Coutinho for Neymar

Have Barcelona persuaded Neymar to stay by promising to buy Philippe Coutinho and Paulinho?

According to Mundo Deportivo the club will not offer him a better deal, but will attempt to surround him with his friends.

The report claims that not only will the arrival of Coutinho and Paulinho, keep Neymar content, but they are also needed by the team.

Liverpool want cash plus Gomes or Rafinha for Coutinho

Barcelona would reportedly be happy to include either player in the deal, but still believe the price Liverpool are asking for is way too high.

But if Barcelona did suddenly find themselves cash rich following the departure of Neymar, could they maybe spend some of it on Paulo Dybala?

According to La Repubblica, Juve would indeed consider selling the Argentine, but Barca would have to fork out a massive €120m for his services.
