Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp was asked about Philippe Coutinho following the Reds’ 3-3 draw with Watford on Saturday, and says his future will be decided by the club’s owners.
After a dramatic Friday when FSG insisted they would not entertain any offers for their Brazilian, the player subsequently submitted an official transfer request.
Reports claim Liverpool immediately turned it down, but it’s clear Coutinho wants to leave Anfield for Barcelona, although it remains to be seen if the club will sanction his sale.
"I cannot say a lot about it. I am responsible for the whole team, all these players and I need to focus on the players who are available. I have no influence on the players who aren't available.
"I have to accept decisions from owners, that's how it is, and sometimes from players, but for this moment I just have to concentrate on my team.”

It’s difficult to read too much into Klopp’s words, other than FSG will now decide whether the club opt to cash in on Coutinho, or keep him at Anfield.
