Rafinha Alcântara says yes to AC Milan move, negotiations with Barcelona next - Report

The Brazilian seems surplus to requirements at Barça, and could be heading to Italy

International Champions Cup 2015 - Manchester United v FC Barcelona

One of the many midfielders in the Barcelona squad right now is Rafinha Alcântara, and with the arrival of Paulinho and the potential new additions, the Brazilian doesn’t seem to be part of Ernesto Valverde’s plans. He knows this, and he’s already looking for options.

And according to the BEST Italian journalist around, Gianluca Di Marzio from Sky Sports Italy, Rafinha is keen on a move to AC Milan and has already agreed to join the Rossoneri.

Di Marzio reports that Milan sounded out Rafinha at the start of the week, and the player is clearly interested. With the positive answer from the player, Milan will now move on to negotiations with Barcelona. Milan have already spent hundreds of millions of Euros in a giant squad overhaul, so maybe they will approach Barça with an offer for a loan with option to buy.

This deal could go through as Rafinha seems surplus to requirements for the manager and wants to leave. Let’s wait for more developments.
