Sport is reporting that Barcelona are in hot pursuit of PSG’s Ángel Di Maria. The tough part is that the two clubs are incredibly far apart on price thus far, pretty hilariously far apart. The two sides would need to come together on a price in a hurry.

PSG initially valued Di Maria at €90 million and are now asking for €60 million in exchange for their star player. Barcelona have reportedly made two offers for Di Maria, the first coming in at €25 million and the second at €35 million.

Di Maria is currently with the Argentina national team for World Cup qualifying and would need to get his medical completed in a hurry should the deal take place.

The source for report from Sport say that “anything could happen” in regards to the transfer.

If Barcelona are indeed rushing to get a deal with PSG done for Di Maria, then it would appear that the possibility of Monaco’s Thomas Lemar has passed by.
