Arda Turan is reportedly refusing to leave Barcelona, despite the club having agreed a move with Galatasaray.
According to Sport, the midfielder is determined to stay at Camp Nou and does not want to leave, with the transfer window in Turkey due to close today.
Galatasaray had reportedly agreed a deal in principle with Barcelona for Arda, that would see him move on a two-year loan.
However, that deal appears set to fall through with Arda seemingly digging his heels in and unwilling to move. He has three years remaining on his current deal.
Arda was quoted as saying earlier this week that he is very happy at the club, even though he does not appear to be in Ernesto Valverde’s plans for the season.
The midfielder is currently sidelined with injury, with no date yet put on when he might return.

Barcelona struggled to offload players in the transfer window and as such have an over-abundance of midfielders.
Although Sergi Samper departed on loan, Andre Gomes, Rafinha and Denis Suarez were all linked with moves which failed to materialise, leaving Valverde with 10 midfielders for three positions.
