PSG want Busquets

Today’s rumors start with Paris Saint-Germain who have now decided they quite fancy signing Sergio Busquets.

Mundo Deportivo have been checking out French media and have discovered that Nasser Al-Khelaïfi wants to pay his €200 million release clause.

However, they also say that PSG are aware that having signed Neymar from Barcelona, signing Busquets “seems impossible.”

Barca reject Inter’s Rafinha offer

Over at Marca the news is that Barcelona have rejected a €20 million offer from Inter Milan for Rafinha.

It seem Barcelona are thinking of a figure more like €35 million plus variables, and they also fancy adding a buy-back clause.

Talks will continue to see if the two clubs can agree a deal for the Brazilian before the close of the transfer window.

De Vrij agrees new Lazio deal

Meanwhile, Calciomercato report that Barcelona have been dealt a blow as Stefan de Vrij has agreed a new deal with Lazio.

They reckon Barca had been interested in the defender, along with Liverpool, but that his extension, and probably the arrival of Yerry Mina, has now ended that.

Messi wants Sergi Roberto signed up

Over at Diario Gol, they bring word that Lionel Messi wants to see Sergi Roberto’s contract renewal signed, sealed and delivered.

However, the problem is that having signed Philippe Coutinho and Yerry Mina, Barcelona are not exactly rolling in cash at the moment.

Roberto has no intention of leaving Camp Nou, but wants a pay rise, and Messi has stepped in as he believes the youngster is fundamental to the club’s future.
