Borussia Dortmund have confirmed they have signed 17-year-old Sergio Gomez from Barcelona.
The teenager has signed a long-term deal with the Bundesliga side and been handed the number 34 shirt.

It’s understood Dortmund activated Gomez’s €3 million release clause, with his Barca deal set to expire in the summer.
The loss of yet another talented youngster will be a blow to Barca. Gomez played a starring role at last summer’s Under-17 World Cup in India as Spain finished runners up to England.
Gomez scored both of Spain’s goals in the 5-2 final defeat and looks to have a really promising future ahead, although unfortunately that will not be at Barca.
