Palmeiras sporting director Alexandre Mattos has said Yerry Mina wants to leave the club now and that he can go to Barcelona if they meet the asking price.
The Colombian has been widely tipped to move to Camp Nou this winter, as a replacement for Javier Mascherano who is expected to depart for China.
Mattos says the player wants to go and that they will now try to complete a deal with Barca for the defender’s signature.
“I spoke with Mina, who says he has big dreams and that now is the time to leave,” he said.
”Now that we know his desire, it’s time to reach an agreement with Barcelona.
”If they come to us with the figure we have asked for, Mina will go. If not, he’ll stay at Palmeiras.”

It looks as though it’s going to be a busy January window for Barca, with Philippe Coutinho also expected to arrive, which may also mean some players depart.
