Paco Alcacer is set to stay at Borussia Dortmund on a permanent basis, as the Bundesliga club have already decided to trigger their purchase option for the striker.
According to Bild, Bayern will sign Alcacer for €23 million, and the striker has already told the club he’d be happy to continue.
Alcacer has enjoyed a brilliant start to life in Germany. He’s scored seven goals in just four appearances for BVB, only one of which has been a start.
He then followed that up with two goals for Spain against Wales on Thursday night, with reports in Germany cropping up during the game that he will sign on at Dortmund until 2023.
Alcacer joined Barcelona in 2016 from Valencia but never really got the chance to impress at the Camp Nou due to the fierce competition for places in attack.
He managed seven goals in 23 outings for the club last season, his last for the club coming in a 2-2 draw at Celta Vigo in April.
