Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal has been talking about the future and says he’d like to play in Mexico at some point in his career.
The 31-year-old is in the country for a friendly against El Tri with Chile in Querétaro City on Tuesday, and he revealed a desire to play in Mexico.
“I’d like to play in Mexico, América, for example, would be an interesting option for me, it’s an excellent team.” he said.
“I don’t think about the future, I leave the door open for Mexico which is a country I really like. For now, I only think about the present.”

Vidal only joined Barcelona in the summer, but he’s already made his frustrations at his lack of game time pretty clear.
Those frustrations are likely to increase if he remains on the bench, and with some important games coming up it will be interesting to see how much game time he’s given.
