Tottenham are reportedly pretty interested in Barcelona’s Malcom. Since signing him Barcelona still haven’t made great use of the player. Spurs, having missed out on him previously, are rumored to be willing to pay upwards of €50 million for the player.
Barcelona initially signed Malcom for £36.5 million from Bordeaux only a few short months ago in July. So far this season he’s only appeared in two La Liga games totalling 25 minutes. It would be a good bit of business to make a quick 15 or so million after not even giving Malcom much pitch time.
However, the likelier move seems to be a loan. Barcelona haven’t given Malcom enough time on the pitch to really see if he’s a good long term fit. A quick sell just six months after signing him would be a strange move.
