Barcelona are reportedly looking at Tanguy Ndombele as an option should some of their higher target moves don’t work out, according to Sport. The Lyon player is only 21 years old and is already turning heads in France.

The two players who seem to be currently ahead of him in the race are Frenkie De Jong and Adrien Rabiot. De Jong seems to have sparked a bidding war with other clubs including Manchester City. Rabiot has made it somewhat clear that he plans on moving to Barcelona next summer once his contract is up.

Currently Ndombele is under contract until 2023 and Manchester City have also expressed interest in him. The fee could end up climbing to somewhere in the range of €60m. Lyon apparently have a history of driving hard bargains, so there’s really no telling where the deal could end up.
