The speculation surrounding Ousmane Dembele simply refuses to stop, and the latest report comes from Goal who reckon the Frenchman has asked to leave the Camp Nou in January.

The report claims Dembele has “requested the board sanction a sale” when the transfer window reopens, and Barcelona could use him as part of a deal to bring Neymar back.

Indeed Barcelona and PSG have already indulged in “preliminary discussions” about a move involving Dembele and a “substantial cash fee” for Neymar in the New Year.

Meanwhile, Goal reckon that Premier League clubs are “likely to also be interested” but then go on to say there’s no “concrete” interest from Liverpool.

The rumors about a potential return for Neymar seem to have been gaining pace in recent weeks, as the January transfer window approaches.

Barcelona players past and present have been happy to offer their views. Carles Alena has said he’d be welcomed back, Andres Iniesta isn’t too bothered about the prospect of the Brazilian returning, while Xavi reckons there’s “zero chance” of a deal happening.
