Adrien Rabiot’s agent denies rumors of Barcelona agreement

Adrien Rabiot’s mother and agent Veronique has denied reports that the midfielder has agreed a deal with Barcelona.

Le Parisien reported on Tuesday that Rabiot had agreed terms with Barcelona, however those reports were quickly shot down by Sport.

Veronique Rabiot has now offered an update on her son’s current situation.

“There is no agreement with any club. I do not know who started this rumour,” she said.

“We have no right to speak to any clubs until January 1 and we won’t. It’s true I rarely speak publicly, I think it’s better for me to stay in the shadows most of the time.”

Veronique also explained that Barcelona had seen an offer for Rabiot rejected by PSG last summer “which is their right” but added there was “no way back” for her son at PSG.
