Neymar wants Barcelona return

Today’s rumors start with Neymar who has apparently told Barcelona he made a huge mistake in leaving and wants to come back, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Apparently the Brazilian got in touch with Barca, before his ankle injury and PSG’s exit from the Champions League, to say he regrets his exit and to offer his services.

Neymar has asked what he needs to do to come back, possibly in 2019, but apparently Barca are still hurt by the way he left and his return is simply not an option...at the moment at least.

Manchester United in contact with Umtiti

Over at Sport there’s a rather worrying update on the future of Samuel Umtiti, as they report that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been in frequent contact with the defender.

The Red Devils have held meetings with Umtiti’s brother and his agent and are willing to pay his €60 million release clause plus hand him a huge salary.

However, Umtiti has started talks with Barcelona over a new deal and has told the club of United’s offer, although it’s unclear if Barcelona can match the offer.

Barca had been planning to renew his deal next season but will have to bring those plans forwards and want to get him signed up before the World Cup.

Barca finally agree Arthur deal

Over in Brazil the word is that Barcelona and Gremio have finally come to an agreement over midfielder Arthur.

Globoesporte report that Barcelona have agreed a €30 million deal (with another €10m in variables) and Arthur will join the club in 2019.

The deal is just waiting for all parties to sign the contract before it will be made official.

Palmeiras want Yerry Mina back on loan

Yerry Mina could be heading back to Brazil in search of regular playing time according to UOL (via Sport).

Apparently former club Palmeiras are one of several Brazilian sides interested in bringing the centre-back home, with Flamengo, Cruzeiro and Gremio also keen.

Napoli back in for Denis Suarez

And finally today we end with news that Napoli have apparently resurrected their interest in Denis Suarez.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is a huge fan of Denis and still wants to bring him to the club.

The Serie A side are aware a deal will be difficult, but he remains a top target, and they will try again.
