Barcelona have confirmed that highly-rated youngster Riqui Puig has renewed his deal at the club and will stay at the Camp Nou until 2021.
There had been rumors that Tottenham were interested in the talented midfielder who would have been out of contract in the summer.
Puig subsequently took to Twitter to say he would stay and he’s now put pen to paper on the deal to make it all official.
Puig has signed a three-year deal with the option of two more years and has a release clause of €100 million.
Big things are expected of the 18-year-old who featured for Barcelona B last season and was called up to train with the first team by Ernesto Valverde.
