Barcelona has renewed B team member Abel Ruiz’s contract this week. The striker arrived in Barcelona in 2012 and has been one of the favorites to break into the first team in the coming years.

The contract is quite friendly to Barcelona. Featuring three more seasons with two optional on the Barcelona side. To make things even more favorable should Ruiz get as good as expected, is that the buyout clause is €100 million.
Ruiz was fantastic for Barcelona B last year and has the potential to really assist on the first team this season. He could add some depth to a squad that may need it should injuries occur.
