Barcelona have been heavily linked with a move for Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic in recent weeks but director Ariedo Braida reckons they are not interested.
Braida was asked about speculation over a move for Pjanic and said there have been no talks and he didn’t think there would be either.
“There are no negotiations and I don’t think we’re interested in him,” the former Milan general manager told
“He’s a good player, but now we have a Brazilian who will take on that role [of ‘regista’] because Barcelona are banking on him.
“There are those who take care of the market for Barcelona, but certainly I know the club’s strategy and Pjanic doesn’t fit into it.”

His comments are prettty interesting because he says Barca don’t need Pjanic because Arthur is coming, yet we still don’t know if he’ll arrive this summer or in the winter.
