Barcelona seem to be getting a bit twitchy about the whole Antoine Griezmann saga and have reportedly told him to sort his future out as soon as possible.

The Blaugrana remain confident of landing the Atletico Madrid star but want him to make his mind up about a move as soon as possible, according to Sport.

Griezmann said again on Friday that he will make a decision before the start of the World Cup which is less than two weeks away now.

Apparently signing Griezmann is Barcelona’s “absolute priority” and if he’s not coming they want to move on and make alternative plans.

Barcelona remain optimistic but realise “anything could happen” and Atletico have been doing their best to persuade him to stay.

Griezmann has been offered a larger contract by Atletico and manager Diego Simeone is said to be phoning him “practically daily” to try and make him stay.

This is one of those transfers that has dragged out for so long now that we all want to know one way or the other, let’s hope we get some kind of official confirmation soon.
