Samuel Umtiti agrees new Barcelona deal until 2023

Barcelona have confirmed that Samuel Umtiti has signed a new deal which will keep him at the Camp Nou until 2023.

The France international is due to sign the contract extension on Monday morning and will then speak to the press.

It’s great news for Barca as Umtiti has become a key part of the team since joining from Lyon in 2016. He also had a pretty small release clause in his contract which presumably has increased, although there’s no official word on that as yet.
