Barcelona continue to make the news with rumors that they’re increasingly interested in Thiago Alcantara making a return to the Camp Nou. The Bayern midfielder has been one of the best in his position and now that Andres Iniesta is in Japan a spot is open.

Bayern are of course not incredibly eager to see Alcantara leave and have apparently set the price at €70m. That price could be lowered by a player going back to Germany as apart of the exchange.

A recent report from Sport suggests that Lucas Digne could be the man on the way back in the deal. Bayern need some depth at the left-back position. David Alaba has been known to have an injury or two and having someone solid and young like Digne backing him up would serve Bayern well.

The addition of Digne in the deal could sweeten it enough that Barcelona could very well end up with Alcantara before the season begins.
