Speculation surrounding Eden Hazard and Willian has moved up a notch this week and the latest update comes from Sport who reckon both players have told Barcelona they are open to negotiating a move.
Both players are keen to win the Champions League and reckon their best chance of fulfilling that ambition is with Ernesto Valverde’s side.
Barcelona have apparently made contact with Hazard’s camp and have been encouraged after receiving positive feedback.
Meanwhile, Willian is fed up with a lack of playing time and the English weather. He wants to join up with Brazilian team-mate Philippe Coutinho at the Camp Nou.
There’s also a suggestion that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is potentially willing to sanction some big-name departures as he wants to raise funds.
Hazard is Chelsea’s star man and if he were allowed to leave it would be a huge move by Chelsea. Real Madrid are also reportedly keen and that interest may be ramped up with both Kylian Mbappe and Neymar having said they will stay at PSG.
