Yerry Mina’s agent confirms contact with Everton

Yerry Mina remains a wanted man and his agent and uncle, Jair Mina, has revealed he has been in touch with Everton.

The Toffees are one of several clubs who have been linked with the Colombia international, and Jair Mina says he is in demand this summer.

“I had communication with the Everton sports director [Marcel Brands]. Yerry has many offers, but his dream is to play at Barça.

“He knows that Barça have 25 squad places available and everyone is important. But what’s important to him is that he plays.”

It sounds like Mina is still waiting to hear from Barcelona before he decides on his future plans.

At present the club have five centre-backs now Clement Lenglet has arrived, and it looks as though either Mina or Thomas Vermaelen will depart this summer.
