Barcelona’s interest in Willian shows no sign of waning with reports on Friday claiming the club have made a third bid of over £55 million for the Chelsea winger.

The good people at Sky Sports reckon that Barcelona have made a new offer and that talks are “ongoing between the two clubs and representatives of the player.”

Reports in Spain this week have claimed that Willian is fed up with being on the bench at Chelsea and, having spent the World Cup with Philippe Coutinho, Paulinho and Neymar, has decided that Barcelona is the place to be.

Willian was not exactly first choice for Chelsea last season, but the Blues are set for big change now Maurizio Sarri has replaced Antonio Conte as boss.

The Brazilian is a quality player but will celebrate his 30th birthday in August which makes a big-money move a little surprising particularly when the club already have Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele.

We’ll have to see how this one plays out as Manchester United and former boss Jose Mourinho are also being linked with Willian, and it seems like he may well leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
