Tuchel says Rabiot’s future is up to him amid Barcelona rumors

PSG manager Thomas Tuchel has given his opinion on Adrien Rabiot’s future amid speculation linking the midfielder with a move to Barcelona.

Rabiot featured for PSG in a 3-1 win over Bayern Munich at the International Champions Cup on Saturday, and after the game Tuchel said the midfielder needs to decide what he wants to do.

“You can see Adrien’s potential -- he still has room to grow. I love this player. I love working with him & his potential is clear to see,” he said.

”Regarding Adrien’s contract situation, ultimately, it is up to him. He must decide if he wants to commit to us, to our style & to his formative club. Otherwise, he will go for a new challenge.”

Rabiot’s into the final year of his current deal which means if he does not renew PSG will need to sell to avoid losing him for free next summer.
