Barcelona are reportedly set to sign Malcom from Bordeaux in a deal worth €41 million, according to multiple reports across Europe.
The Spanish champions made a late swoop for Malcom on Monday night despite Bordeaux having announced a deal with Roma.
It now seems that Barcelona may have got their man after deciding to give up on Willian and move for the 21-year-old instead.
Gerard Romero reports his agent was in talks for Barcelona last night and the player himself is now on his way to the club as the deal is done.
Gianluca Di Marzio is also reporting that Barcelona have beaten Roma to the Brazilian in a move which will surely anger the Serie A side.
It’s still not quite all signed, sealed and delivered but it certainly looks for the moment that Malcom might just be about to join Arthur and Clement Lenglet in signing for Ernesto Valverde’s side.
Interestingly, Barcelona and Roma are due to meet in the International Champions Cup on Wednesday 1st August which should make for a fun game.
