Monaco have confirmed they have signed 16-year-old Barcelona midfielder Robert Navarro.
Reports in Spain have claimed Barcelona wanted to keep hold of Navarro but he resisted all offers of a new deal and opted to change clubs instead.
“Monaco are a great club that relies heavily on its training and gives young people the chance to express themselves at the highest level,” he said.
”My goal is to work hard to move forward and take new steps.”

The teenager also posted a message on social media saying goodbye to Barcelona

Navarro is the latest youngster to leave the Camp Nou and moves to the Ligue 1 side where he will link up with Jordi Mboula who signed for Monaco last summer.
